Temporal Patterns of N2O Fluxes From a Rainfed Maize Field in Northeast China

چکیده

Rainfed agriculture is one of the most common farming practices in world and vulnerable to global climate change. However, only limited studies have been conducted on rainfed agriculture, mainly using low-frequency manual techniques, which caused large uncertainties estimating annual N 2 O emissions. In this study, we used a fully automated system continuously measure soil emissions for two years (April 2017 March 2019) typical maize field Northeast China. The were 2.8 kg ha −1 year 1 2018) 1.8 2018 2019), accounting 1.9 1.2% nitrogen fertilizer applied, respectively. inter-annual variability was due different weather conditions encountered 2. A severe drought reduced plant uptake, leaving high mineral soil, following moderate rainfalls promoted amount seasonal pattern fluxes controlled by temperature nitrate concentration. Both moisture molar ratio NO/N indicate that NO derived from nitrification, resulting significant positive correlation between flux intra-rows (where applied). Moreover, observed during freeze–thaw periods negligible region agriculture. Our long-term high-resolution measurements suggest sampling LST 9:00 10:00 best empirical time intermittent measurements.

Impact of spatial-temporal variations of climatic variables on summer maize yield in North China Plain

Summer maize (Zea mays L.) is one of the dominant crops in the North China Plain (NCP). Its growth is greatly influenced by the spatial-temporal variation of climatic variables, especially solar radiation, temperature and rainfall. The WOFOST (version 7.1) model was applied to evaluate the impact of climatic variability on summer maize yields using historical meteorological data from 1961 to 20...

Spatio-temporal patterns of crab fisheries in the main bays of Guangdong Province, China

Using a semi-balloon otter trawl, crab fisheries in the main bays of Guangdong Province, China, were carried out seasonally . A total of 70 species were found, all belonging to the South China Sea Faunal sub region in the tropical India-West-Pacific Faunal Region. The clustering and nMDS ordination analysis revealed the existence of three groups. Group 1 included Hailing Bay and four bays to ...

Wet-season spatial variability of N2O emissions from a tea field in subtropical central China

18 Tea fields emit large amounts of nitrous oxide (N2O) to the atmosphere. Obtaining accurate 19 estimations of N2O emissions from tea-planted soils is challenging due to strong spatial 20 variability. We examined the spatial variability of N2O emissions from a red-soil tea field in 21 Hunan province, China, on 22 April 2012 (in a wet season) using 147 static mini chambers 22 approximately regu...
